    In an abundance of caution, to accommodate consumers who during the final hours of Open Enrollment may have experienced issues, starting at 3 pm ET today, we are extending the deadline to sign up for January 1 coverage until 3 am ET December 18.

    You don’t have the psychic power to predict the future. If you have an accident or get sick, not having health insurance could mean financial ruin. Don’t take a chance on your health and by December 15th!

    No person should have to live in fear of not being able to see a doctor, fill their prescriptions, or receive life-saving care. I encourage all Maine people to visit to learn about coverage during the open enrollment period which begins today.

    I am grateful that Planned Parenthood provides critical, preventive health care services like flu vaccinations and cancer screenings to Maine people every day, and whether you visit Planned Parenthood or any other health care provider, I urge you to get the flu shot too.
