    This is amazing.

    Oh My God. Someone's created a parody version of "Netflix" that only streams fake movies and TV series that were invented for _actual_ movies and TV series. And it solicits new entries from users. This has my IMMEDIATE AND ENTHUSIASTIC SUPPORT

    Some of these are CLEARLY wrong () but as someone who has lived the most time in Alaska and Illinois, I concur with those ratings 100%. Also, someone clearly hates Texas.

    Porcupine in the yard just now - pic is a little blurry b/c taken from window with zoom, and it's moving. This is the first time I realized that calm porcupines aren't spiky, just furry. I guess I've only ever seen them when they were a bit alarmed by dogs or whatnot.

    I already knew this in general theory (about the firelight) but the descriptions in this thread are so cool. I would really love to see this someday. And it's so fascinating to think how something as unremarked as electric light can change the whole experience.

    All of you have seen cave art, right? Either sketches or photos in books or online. If you're really lucky, maybe you've been in a cave yourself with a flashlight or something. But is it possible that the way we look at cave art today hides a key aspect of the art? 🧵
