Racist remarks, anti-English videos, suggesting gays are paedophiles...just because there's a gap in the market for a party of the far right doesn't mean Alba should allow itself to by put there.

Wealth tax on doctors, teachers and middle managers? Most of them will accrue pension/housing assets worth over £1m. I don't think so.

Health spending Scotland in 1999 was was 22% higher than in England. Now it is only 3% higher. Has Scotland just got a lot healthier, or has the cash gone elsewhere?

Labour MP apparently calling for herself to be abolished. She realises that earning £82,000 a year places her in the top 1% who are to blame. This noble act of self-sacrifice should be commended and emulated.

Brexit may well be "to blame". But border checks are imposed by the EU. That's why Johnson seems relatively relaxed about NI disturbances. To him it's pressure on Brussels. Anyway: the point is that when Scotland leaves the UK for the EU there's gonna be Border Issues.

There's no mystery about this. The UK is no longer in the EU. Brussels is imposing border checks to protect EU producers. That's what the single market is all about. Loyalists have exploited this for political purposes.

The Northern Ireland protocol has been a disaster for Brussels. It threatens the integrity of the single market. Border checks on UK goods has led to loyalist street violence and pressure to lift them. Is there a lesson for Scotland?

Northern Ireland is in flames because the EU has enforced non-tariff barriers on UK goods That led to shelves emptying in Belfast supermarkets, and gave the UDA and UDF a golden opportunity. Borders are trouble. Which is why the SNP needs answers on ours.

Don't mention the border. Nothing to see here. It'll all be fine after independence and when we rejoin the EU. Oh no it won't.

Twitter is disgusting today. A stomach-churning display of insensitivity and mindless nastiness over Prince Phillip. These people disgrace the left.

Remarkably clear-headed account of the ontological confusion at the heart of the gender debate. Starts from the premise that trans rights are indeed human rights.

Alex Salmond wants to open independence negotiations on day one after the election. He wants Holyrood to unite in a patriotic revolution. "So long as 129 of us remain alive..." But this is 2021 not 1321. Are SNP MSPs going to risk their £65k? For what?.

At the first hint of Alba gaining support, the establishment parties try to discredit the voting system. Alex Salmond's new party causes panic in the chicken coop. Nicola's worst nightmare comes true Salmond second guessing her week after week at FMQs.

Alex Salmond wants to launch independence negotiations immediately after the next election. But does he seriously believe that Nicola Sturgeon’s band of comfy careerists have the bottle?
