    This moving, little-seen John Ford feature is playing on streaming through Thurs., Sept. 30 at noon. New 4K restoration from our unique nitrate print (much better than that old DVD).

    PILGRIMAGE: astoundingly it's the McCarey inspired segment that most successfully drives home Ford's modernist expression of unity, even more than the beautifully composed and edited opening half. the veneer of individuality is erased; everyone is a member of one family.
