    Know what's a sure sign that it's too hot outside? When the suet cake in your birdfeeder melts out all over ground. It's in full shade all day. Can I say the historic heat dome hanging out over the Pacific Northwest sucks? I'm excited it's 8:30 PM and now out of triple digits.

    Okay. So, a couple days ago, I took RocketKid to the dentist, and it was a sunny day so I waited outside in our car, reading a historical novel called Rose Code (quite good, too!). This older gentleman, maybe in his early seventies came out of the dentist’s office… 1/

    Artist friends, watch out for scummy contests like this where even if you dont win, they keep the license for your art and are allowed to use and modify it however they want, including commercially Especially if they hide this info under several pages and a LOT of scrolling

    Went into a different B&N because I needed a specific book for a photoshoot and low and behold was a 2 for 1 author on their LGBT+ pride display. Had a fun convo with the employee about it who asked if I needed suggestions on what to read!

    I miss going to baseball games. I miss going to T-Mobile Park. After getting my 2nd vaccine dose this week, I looked forward to seeing play. Then it comes out today that HALF the team won't get vaccinated??? Disgusted doesn't come close to my mood on this.

    I'm definitely NOT a teenager and 100% confident I'm older than *you*. How about trying to actually "listen" for a bit and see the other point of view? Artists do get ripped off in the industry you're promoting. Badly.
