    A major achievement with potential to significantly enhance capabilities of sector. Activities such as soil & shallow groundwater mapping now have dedicated & real time resources. Yield estimations & disease surveillance will get easier & more precise.

    Congrats Ethiopian farmers & Agricultural professionals. It mean a lot for our sector. Real-time satellite imageries coupled with ground truth data is key to support policy decisions. Only with science we can shorten our pass.

    Amazing end to the launch of the ACC (Cluster) Initiative when President invited farmers in attendance for a discussion at the Palace that lasted nearly 2 hours. The farmers truly felt heard with Ato Teshome Girma commenting to the President "... 1/2

    President Sahle-Work Zewde met with 24 farmers from Amhara, Oromia, SNNP and Tigray in her office, the National Palace, to listen to the farmers’ experience in the cluster approach.

    Inspiring!! Wzo Tamerie organized 1,401 farmers into 17 wheat clusters on 1,286 ha. This type of leadership makes me optimistic about reaching our goal of doubling the income of nearly 5 million farmers in 5 years while making structural transformations to the sector
