    In Aurora, a minimum wage worker has to work 72 hours/week to afford a one bedroom apartment. If a job is important enough to exist then it should pay a living wage. One job should be enough. Let’s raise the minimum wage.

    i’d believe the zodiac stuff more if it turned out the cops had interviewed him five times in relation to the case and he’d said stuff like “i’m literally the zodiac killer” during the interviews and they’d then dismissed him as a suspect

    Emailing older less-internetty people is nervewracking because they'll write "'THANK YOU' for your 'HELP'... Cliff..." and mean nothing by it and it's very hard to politely explain that in my language that would be a declaration of war

    It's official. The strike is happening. Folks, while this will mean more reruns and reality TV shows until this gets resolved, this is for the best until working conditions are improved for the folks who make these movies and TV shows even possible.

    Dress it up however you like, reducing the quality of the USPS is about making a public good less effective so that private companies can swoop in and claim they're better, obviously, and that we don't need any government run programs.
