    So sorry to hear this. But I get it. I wish my fellow Americans were more welcoming these days...

    Too many tweets from me today, one more & then I shut up. As an immigrant, I can say that connecting to a different culture is VERY difficult. I've been away from Germany too long to fit in there anymore, but the longer I live here, the more estranged from YOUR culture I feel.

    As TV networks finalize their fall lineups for Upfront presentations next week, news about series renewals r trickling out. Today, ABC says they have renewed 3 Thursday dramas exec produced by Shonda Rhimes' Shondaland: Grey's Anatomy, Station 19 and How to Get Away With Murder.

    Great story by Emily Nussbaum of The New Yorker on how CBS All Access censored a scene on The Good Fight and how the compromise struck to keep the creators from quitting the show wound up looking like a scripted joke (I thought it was when I saw it).
