    Came across the voting card for Venezuela's last semi-competitive presidential elections, in 2013. There was already plenty of Maduro to choose from back then (Capriles was a lone face in the bottom corner).

    100% de acuerdo con Peru está sacrificando décadas de estabilidad y crecimiento para que algunos legisladores se cubran sus amplios rabos de paja.

    Lo de Perú es terrible. Este es un país que ha avanzado desde la época de Fujimori. La economía sacó a millones de la pobreza. Ahora todo está siendo amenazado por legisladores impopulares que utilizaron un juicio político expreso para tomar el poder.

    A truly fowl thing to say to !

    . daytime ratings have completely collapsed. Weekend daytime even WORSE. Very sad to watch this happen, but they forgot what made them successful, what got them there. They forgot the Golden Goose. The biggest difference between the 2016 Election, and 2020, was !

    That the U.S. government clearly has much to learn from Bolivia (of all places!) regarding elections & peaceful transfer of power is just so very 2020. After all this ridiculous political theater, why wouldn't every LatAm incumbent, of any ideology, just ignore election results?

    If Venezuela's experience is anything to go by, trumpeting unsubstantiated claims of election fraud is not the best way to ensure your supporters vote the next time. With control of the Senate hanging on two January run-offs in Georgia, the GOP might want to think about that.

    Yo también lamento mucho el exito de lo que parece haber sido el golpeachment legislativo de anoche contra Martín Vizcarra en Peru. Vizcarra era de lo mejorcito que le quedaba al continente en cuanto liderazgo.
