    This is the best thing ever. Even has external DC input, presumably so you can hook it up to an enormous linear PSU. Just amazing.

    audiophile-grade m.2 SSD... who approved of this snake oil? this serpent slick? this absolute noodle lube?? Is it supposed to make your zeros rounder and ones pointier!? give your windows install warmth and fullness??? I've never been so appalled.

    Scrolled and honestly thought this was someone from the baggy era, possibly an Ian Brown form.

    Face to face with the Bronze Age. ‘Ditchling Road Man’ is a forensic reconstruction of a 25-35 year-old male, who lived around 4,200 years ago. He was buried with a pottery beaker, arrowhead & shells. He was discovered in 1921 during road works in Brighton, Sussex.

    Seen just now in a HiFi group after someone "upgraded" the ICs in their preamp: "Been up all night listening to the replacement OPA2134, OPA4134 amps and MAX4066 switches burning in." That's right, folks, don't forget to burn in those ICs!

    Lovely vintage ISP thread. I miss mid-late 90s Internet.

    Fun Fact: I used to own / operate an ISP. Started with a single DS1 and 33.6 baud modems. Found these in an old picture archive, circa late 1990s, and it appears I was doing some updates.
