Trey Gowdy leaving Congress for the last time. I look forward to his rampant abuse of taxpayer dollars being investigated. Plus the fact he took bribes from an anti-Hillary group, while running frivolous investigations in to her. Investigate them all. For everything. No mercy. 🇺🇸

It bothers me that mainstream media immediately began reporting their expectations that the Democratic House Majority should compromise. You cannot compromise with the Republicans. It's not about being obstructionist; it's that they refuse to negotiate.

It’s all parlor games. For its only about winning even if what he wins violates anything he may have once believed in. But keep repeating this. GOP must own this. And the irony of all this being about “security” when they’re protecting a Russian asset.

Did I miss where we no longer can override a presidential veto? Why is it that if the legislation passed with 100 votes two weeks ago that we can't simply override? Isn't that what checks and balances are all about??????

McConnell refusing to allow his own bills up for a second vote is kind of McConnell in a nutshell. He's a pioneer in the field of "yes I am a hypocrite, wtf are you gonna do about it."

Not true. Issue now is economy is good, need to not be driving up debts in the 'good' times.

You are wrong. The deficit was in decline during Obama and was eliminated during Clinton. Every time we elect a republican president the deficit increases.
