A baby American Alligator calls out for mom. With populations decimated due to hunting, these animals were listed as an endangered species in 1973. Conservation efforts helped them rebound and they were delisted in 1987.

Ring-necked Ducks had taken over a small pond at Middle Creek WMA today. While Middle Creek was created and conserved for hunting, in 2010 it was designated as a Globally Significant Important Bird Area. It has become a great place to see migrating waterfowl.pic.twitter.com/pURj1QUFAg
