@meloegirl Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune condition. We can’t make insulin so still require insulin shots no matter what kind of diet we follow. I eat low carb and still need to test my blood glucose levels 100 times a day and be a attached to an insulin pump 24/7

@wannabewendy1, but LCHF helps Type 1 as well. Yes, they have to be a bit more aware of their symptoms, but in the LCHF and ZeroCarb worlds, many Type 1s who thrive on LCHF.
