Huge shout out to , who diagnosed a problem w/ DPW’s criteria for abandoned vehicles, prescribed specific solutions (resolutions.anc.dc.gov/AttachmentsFil), and for & team for drafting & passing this bill. The old definitions were confusing & frustrating for residents.

The legal definition of an abandoned or dangerous vehicle has changed, so has our process of investigating and removing vehicles. For more information; dpw.dc.gov/service/remova
