Here’s some food for thought: increase gun control, people are still going to get a hold of them illegally... just like everything else.

Prohibition : more alcohol consumed than when it was legal. People are going to break the law regardless.

An automatic assault weapon is completely different from alcohol I have NO idea how you could even once come to that conclusion.

It’s more so the idea that they’re going to obtain it one way or another. Automated assault weapons aren’t legal now...

No doubt people can obtain things that are illegal, but making those things significantly harder to get isn't something to argue against lol

Unfortunately even with more gun control, it’s likely to still happen. I’m not against it, I just don’t think it’s the end all to the prob.

But here's the point everyone who argues for it tries to make: Why aren't we trying? Clearly thoughts, prayers, and hope won't do anything.

Well of course prayers don’t do shit. My whole prohibition analogy is that when something is controlled, people want to break the control.
