I'm happy that they are making money now, but it feels like they've forgotten their roots and what made their content awesome.
I kinda miss the 2008-2012 YouTube era. 80% of the videos and people "famous" on there now seem immensely shallow and lack creativity.

yep. Exactly how I feel also. Seems like art is dead to people, and now replaced with new-money and fame.
