Everything was on backorder, so sticking with Rode USB condenser mic for now. Trying a new headset though, usually Sennheiser all the time. Giving Beyerdynamic a shot with this build. Maybe when everything comes off backorder I'll try a rodecaster or something.

Sounds like my experience with the HyperX Cloud IIs they gave us. Super comfy after they wear in a bit, but I definitely let them sit a weekend or two on a box to speed things up.

Also, if you're looking for a new mic setup, I have an AT2020 and a Focusrite Scarlett Solo, and it's pretty damn fantastic. I think they make a USB version as well, if that's what you prefer.
