For those that adopted dogs, how did you do it? I've put in 20 applications and haven't heard back. I'm getting sick of this. What an I doing wrong? I WANT A PUPPER!

We went to the event last week at the dog park in Irvine and they weren't doing on site adoptions. :( Put in a bunch of apps though.
I'd check Petco and PetsMart websites for on-site adoption days. I've been using their search engine. I think I'm going to Riverside Monday. They have a lab that looks really cute and it's a free adoption for veterans!
