By falling back on my roots and how I was raised. That reminding myself that there are legitimately good people with quiet integrity in this country whose only goal is to serve their country. Idealistic, but it makes me sleep better.

Since about 30% will never believe Trump is a traitor, the number that could potentially take to the streets and cause a national work stoppage is well over 200 million into the streets all over this country. What everyone needs to know, this is not going to be a one day thing.

I remind myself that I am not responsible personally for what is happening. I am only responsible for MY REACTION TO IT and my ACTIONS IN REGARD TO IT. I have to do MY part ( get Democrats elected, never stop calling my representatives even though they suck, etc)

It reduces the STRESS. Also I remind myself from time to time that I am willing to die to defend my country and if it comes to that, I will. This is calming for some reason- reduces the tention between “pre-Trump” life and now.

We all deal with this. And you can't get a psychologist to help, either. They're all booked & not taking new patients. Seriously. I assume half of America is in therapy to cope with Trump.
