Strome was driving his line w . Not scoring, but not getting many chances against or scored against much either. Goes to and literally falls off a cliff. He's getting absolutely caved. 2 of every three shots and chances while he's on the ice are against him.

What's goin on w ? Strome w 8 pts in 20 gms. Also w Corsi & Fenwick in the 30s. Shots for% is 36%. Their 5th worst regular forward in goals for%. Worst fwd for scoring chances for% & high danger chances for% (at 24%!) &starting in the o zone about 50% of shifts

I don't understand why Hitch doesn't put Khaira and RNH back together. They had something nice going!

Is this so the bottom nine forwards can find it?

In the 2000’s, only 20 players have had 100+ point seasons in the NHL. Only 4 players have done it with a negative team goal differential. McDavid and the Oilers are on pace to do it in back-to-back years.

Man, looking at this 2019 UFA class of forwards and I have no idea where the can find secondary scoring. Quite a few, but most of them are among the worst on their teams in terms of possession and scoring chance metrics. IE, they produce..but they also give up a lot.

As a former TA, I--&the profs I worked for--looked for exceptional ideas presented coherently. If paper written by student w/ non-native English, but ideas & organization were outstanding & a few occasional grammatical mistakes, that student got an A. U just apply common sense.

Is it "polite" to gift a stick? That seems more like "benevolence". Or "shamelessly clever marketing". Not sure.

Joseph Gambardella, LW, No. 45:Growing up, my dad – before we had smartphones, when he had to text on the keypad – he couldn’t always type out the words “I love you.” So, he would send “459” – “4” for “I,” “5” for “L” and “9” for “Y.” I got that tattooed on my back. Awesome

On the other hand, JNF flew wayyy too close to the sun with these activities for far too long, it seems. If losing charitable status is the penalty for such actions, I don’t see how the could avoid doing just that. 2/2

Oof, this story’s all sorts of “ouch”. JNF may well receive more money in Canada than any other Jewish charity outside of UJA/Federation. If it lost its charitable status under the , you’d see a HUGE exodus of Jews to the , imo. 1/2

You mean to say maybe all this world juniors hype is much ado about nothing? That maybe we shouldn’t get so hyped up about a bunch of teenagers? I agree! &I also guarantee ppl’d be much less sh*tty if media didn’t hype world jrs to be 1 of most important sport events of the year

Not that Oilers fans need to be more prone to rehashing the team's mistakes, but Erik Gustafsson is one mostly flies under the radar. He's playing 21:57 for Chicago this year, and would lead all Oilers D in goals (8), assists (14) and points (22).

I keep reading a refrain from fans & writers that Oil have their drafting on track. Thoughts: even venerable used to call Stu Macgregor “Magnificent Bastard”. Really have little evidence that drafting is better outside of fact that picks aren’t reaches anymore.

    1) . Statement from Max Comtois’ agents. Seriously people, he’s a 19y old player(age really doesn’t matter) who deserves none of your outrageous crap. He did the best he could, as did all these kids. I am proud to broadcast this tourney, watch them play
