My dudes @defcon we need to have a talk. Last night I was out at a nightclub with two female friends and a male friend. There were at least 4 different men with badges on who continued to grab at female friend #1 and attempt to sexually assault her after she shoved them away1/n
Being drunk is not an excuse. No means no and my friends shouldnt have to flee behind me to get away from your creepyass selves. And for the record i know at least two of them were fully sober. This has to stop and people need to speak up when they witness this behavior </rant>
And while I have your attention, just because a woman is at a hacker con does not mean she wants to sleep with you.
I'm sorry someone had to deal with this. It pisses me off, just about every large conference you hear about this, not just Defcon.
I can only address issues that I see. Fair warning to all of the creeps, i will be photographing you and doxxing you in the act if i witness this again.
Horrible. Surely you had them kicked out or called the police for sexual assault?
My defcon dudes we can do better. Ask me how. #1. Don’t grab women. #2. Mind your drinking. #3. Think it through. #4. Treat women like they are people. #5. Do the work #6. Hold other dudes accountable. #6. Be a role model for all this.
