Blanchard's view of "AGP" comes from a framework that was current in the 70s, which is understandable. What is NOT understandable is him learning about non-gynephilic FtMs and applying the 70s framework in the late 2010s. "Female sexuality relational" is stereotypical bunkum.

I recall one married male-to-female transsexual who decided not to transition until his children were grown. She did not pass well as a woman, but she was serene, cheerful, and pleasant to be around. She gave substantial help to other transsexuals.

It's tough when you are married with children. GD caused me so much distress that I felt I had to transition, but I regret the effect it had on my partner and children. I don't pass brilliantly but well enough to get by. Looks are a factor but inner confidence is the key.
