Yes, the East German women were victims of the Stasi and their government's unethical experiments. But as "Surly Shirley" Babashoff says in this 2016 interview, it was still cheating, and the IOC needs to make it right.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPEkYZaGzyk …

Another interesting doc. on E. German doping scandal, the full scope of which was only revealed when Berlin Wall fell in 1989. Also features former shot-putter Andreas (nee Heidi) Kreiger, who suffered lifelong medical damage from doping with testosterone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xs6-vhBj2pE …

Several of the doped women athletes suffered permanent skeletal/joint damage. One MD interviewed discussed impact of testosterone-fueled body building on female bone structure. Recently, at least one WPATH MD has mentioned this problem with FTMs. See here:https://4thwavenow.com/2017/08/18/thoracic-outlet-syndrome-deteriorating-verbal-fluency-not-on-your-typical-informed-consent-form/ …

Interestingly, WPATH appears to have removed that thread from the FB page. Wonder why? Luckily, the Internet is forever, so we have the screen cap. How many FTMs are told that their "estrogen-based" skeletons might not be able to easily handle "testosterone-based" body-building?pic.twitter.com/m6mkF6Ws1l

I want every womens Olympics medal in 2020 to be won by a "trans." Burn it down. We have to hit bottom and then maybe our elites will get shamed into sense.

Great documentary but in fairness, those East German athletes were coerced as *minors*. The documentary explains very well the pressure they were under. I don’t blame them for having very complex feelings about that time in their lives.

The East German coaches, scientists and doctors should be the ones apologising. They abused the minors in their care. The East German athletes paid in many ways. Jill Sterkel was right that she was lucky to be an American athlete rather than an East German one.
