Why does it matter if powerful private corporations like Twitter, Google, & Facebook show massive bias in which accounts they shut down? Because, like it or not, social media is the public square of the 21st century They're monopolies & should be regulated like public utilities
True dat. There are two platforms I've seen mentioned: Bit Chute (alternative to YouTube, which is Google-owned and is on a censorship tear), gab (alternative to Twitter). They need to get big enough to attract a lot of users, across the political spectrum.

I'm on all of them. I don't think you get how that "getting big" works. At the point they become big, they become the same as these ones we have. There are many social networks you never heard of. All of them will die because of the data capitalism models.
