What totally kills me about these guys is that their 'expertise' consists of rubber-stamping the inexperienced, immature, perception of *children.* Children who are developmentally incapable of considering consequences & projecting themselves into the future.
The author (left) is very proud of this broadside leveled against parents of trans-identified kids--even young kids. Above all, the paper promulgates the lie that "affirmative" treatment is settled science. It is not (see 2 righthand screen caps).pic.twitter.com/s7dzTW3dyr
Did you know: These "gaslighting" parents of "trans kids" also cause borderline personality disorder!pic.twitter.com/ys90ndiSDX
.@BJontry it's a direct, take-no-prisoners attack on cautious parents who don't automatically trust the wisdom of one-sided "experts"--twisting their caution into "abuse." The way this clinician discusses parents is the exact opposite of ethical practice with minors.
"Cisgenderism." And if the parent "misgenders," no apologies or excuses are to be tolerated. Remember, this article's case studies involve young children, not just older teenagers.pic.twitter.com/u2CUKZSyXM
I would suppose that putting a child on puberty blockers affects psychological, emotional, physiological development, resulting in this individual continuing to feel as though they are not in the right body. They will be transed with or w/o parents involvement/ consent
