It wouldn't surprise me if this were true AND it were true that male teenagers who watch a crapload of porn before any real-world sexual experience are affected by that in certain not-great ways when they start having sexhttps://twitter.com/RichardYannow/status/963904343291260929 …

Are there really enough male teenagers who *don't* watch a crapload of porn to run these numbers accurately?

genuinely unfamiliar with this research -- i'm sorta spitballing on this one. tons of women do say dudes wanna do like "porn moves" for a lack of a better term. that isn't a crisis or anything (as long as everything's consensual) but it's something!

Anyone who gives a crap about teenage girls should care about the pressures they THEMSELVES say they face because of porn. Case in point: Anal sex is de rigeur in 21st century porn, coinciding w/more girls being pushed to do it. http://www.abc.net.au/religion/articles/2016/03/07/4420147.htm …

It doesn't have to be overt rape for there to be a deleterious impact on adolescents. Porn today is much more "gonzo" than in the past, with a fetishizing of rape and coercion. Maybe adult men can keep real life and porn separate. Adolescent boys, just learning about sex?
