...I believe strongly that the way to manage this is a conversation the transgender community needs to have that we have not had effectivelty for a numer of reasons. Sadly, the oppression by overzealous anti-trans viewpoint has contributed to our hyper vigilance for oppression..

There is nuance, but the exec summary is that in Canada, discriminating against somebody on the basis of their gender identity is prohibited. A trans woman like me is legally recognized as a woman and as a female. Disagreement is based on gender identity ONLY.

You still have not explained how SAYING a trans woman is a man is an act of discrimination. An act of discrimination based on gender identity would be (for example) refusing to hire you because you say you are trans. Or because of your appearance (your "expression").
