Because "apparently" preschoolers need someone to "explain" things them so their heads are filled with worries about "gender" while they're playing dressup.
I was friends with a boy in school who wore tights and played with barbie, whilst I played with The A Team and would only wear dungarees and combats. We grew up to be simply gay. Stop pushing gender dysphoria on impressionable kids, it's so wrong.
And @glaad is who funded it. These orgs no longer advocate for their original constituency. In fact, they undermine LGB people with every dollar they spend today. Little kids who statistically would grow up to be gay are being encouraged to question if their bodies are wrong.pic.twitter.com/pXJogRcWcS
I don't think so? Wasn't it that annoying Alok (or whatever) dude?
Yes, the irony (that they are oblivious to) is that all this regressive labeling and parsing of "identity," "expression," and pronouns is the opposite of allowing little children to freely explore, to play without worry or concern. They are INTERFERING in childhood.
Absolutely! I’ve equipped my kids with age-appropriate info: that means responding to questions they have, and giving them validation and time to explore. My 11 yo already tells me about lesbo/homophobic bullying at school
