Right, and we as a society should do more to reward and recognize that kind of labor. One of the legitimate criticisms of a certain kind of feminism is that it has contributed to the devaluing of this type of labor in favor of a standard of success that is still defined by men.

This only means female primates should evolve to care abt what's best for their own offspring and those related to them, though, not “all humanity” or random strangers. Evolution doesn't act on the species but on the gene.
