It contradicts information from August 2017 on the website of the Ministry of Justice, as I said. @MoJGovUK could perhaps shed light on why this is?

Didn't you notice that the data on that webpage (see the number of prisoners) is dated "as of 31 October 2010"? Or didn't you care?

Yes, updated on 29 August 2017 with a prisoner population figure from October 2010! Someone's done a pretty thorough update haven't they? Come on - you've been nailed.

This is about what type of prisoners are accepted into the prison. Prisoners from any offence type are in Rye Hill according to the MoT website.

Mate - read the IMB report. It's their job to report about the prison. The wesbite hasn't been updated properly.

I'll repeat myself. The part you are referring to is the operation capacity, which is a total of 625 prisoners since 2010. It means they can host a total of 625 as of 2010.pic.twitter.com/hdjbr9VKTM

And I'll repeat myself: read the IMB report. It's their job to report about the prison. You didn't do that, did you? Yet you criticise others for poor research.

Show me where it says it only hosts sex offenders. It is a category B training prison for sex offenders. That does not mean it doesn't also host prisoners of other offence type. The only place where it says what type of offence type prisoners are hosted there is on the MoT site.

Here you are. The clue is in the phrase "only Cat B prisoners convicted of a sex offence." Hope that helps!pic.twitter.com/TN7eLwMPQh

Corroborating @mragilligan , the BBC in 2015 reported that ONLY sex offenders are housed at Rye Hill. @BBCNews was mistaken, was it?
