Professional hospital staff aren't going to require a patient to pronounce, "I'm a woman!" before providing emergency treatment.
How is forcing everyone to use the term "pregnant people" going to change the sort of care this person will receive when presenting to ER?

Whether MD's thoughts/words are effectively policed has zero to do w/ ER care. But burden is on the PATIENT to describe symptoms clearly.
