4thWaveNow has published many articles heavily sourced from the clinical lit and/or public statements by researchers-clinicians in the field
We do this because few journalists reveal even a hint of the "down side" to pediatric transition, & we feel public ought to know that side.
Trans activists try to discredit 4thWaveNow as just a "Wordpress blog" because we're openly skeptical of the practice of transitioning youth
Yet activists eagerly cite blogs by engineers, gamers, pornographers, & other writers who have media access for one reason: They are trans.
One top blogger is an electrical engineer, late-transitioning father who is treated by WPATH as a respected authority on "trans kids."
What trans activists & pontificating bloggers don't get is this: 4thWaveNow is run by parents with a stake in this discussion: our kids.
We've done our homework and we're not going away, no matter how much you and your handmaidens try to silence, shame, or discredit us.
Maybe--MAYBE--when media begins to notice there's another side to this; when doctors/therapists offer more options to our families, then...
...we may feel we can wind down our citizen-journalism. But we're a long way from that day, so we'll keep citing, writing, & digging.
