& if she does think her kid's belief they are "really" opposite sex is not reality-based (that's what a delusion is), so? Thought crime?

1. "Rejecting" an idea doesn't mean direct confrontation/starting fights. Rejecting a PERSON is a problem. Caring parents understand this.

2. No one is "forcing" anyone to identify one way or another. You can't "force" someone to change their ideas. False equivalence.
