6. Of course they're happy (for now). They get to fit in, all the adults are praising them, no more battles over haircuts and toys.

I don't understand, what are you recommending parents do? Take away the toys or not? Force gender-typical presentation or not?

Are you against affirming the identity, or affirming gender non-conforming behaviors?

An "identity" is an idea: The idea that the idea ITSELF ("I'm in the wrong body") is correct. GNC behaviors are observable reality.

How long do you believe children's self ID should be rejected before the parent should just accept it? 1, 2, 5, 10, 15 years?

Parents can love/support kids in dressing/behaving as they like; but if a parent doesn't believe child is "really" opposite sex, why lie?

Love isn't equivalent to agreeing w/someone's subjective views w/ which you disagree. This gets lost in accusations of "transphobic" parents

I thought you were worried about the negative effects of hormone blockers, and about making children trans who wouldn't be otherwise?

"You" is a group of parents, each w/ own approach. But kids aren't "rejected". Parents can be kind and honest at same time.

If your child has been identifying as a certain gender from age 5, and you continue to misgender them at age 20, that is not kind, IMO.

A middle way (you're uninterested in hearing about): Not going out of one's way to "misgender" but not lying when asked. Lying is never kind

I really do want to hear about that! Tell me more. Does that mean using preferred pronouns and name for your trans child who is 18 or over?
