Authors say GNC play patterns occurred irrespective of upbringing, suggesting SOME non-social (i.e. bio) influence.
i.e., perhaps there is some innate tendency for males to prefer movement-based toys (obviously non-human primates can't drive trucks).
Not to say there aren't flaws in that study! Just that her research as a whole is more nuanced.
