Because it is not the whole of her work. I have not seen the "anti-semitic" writings, I admit. But her previous work is well researched. https://thefederalist.com/2018/02/20/rich-white-men-institutionalizing-transgender-ideology/ … and /www.the11thhourblog.com

If someone promoted or recommended the "work" of a Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, would you think it was ok if "the whole" of their previous work was "well researched"?

Is it reasonable to assume that
@HJoyceGender fact-checked Bilek’s research? As a crack journalist, I would hope so. I know she referred to Bilek in the text of the book (or I swear I read it), though she did not cite her as a source - probably because of this stuff.1 reply 1 retweet 0 likes -

Helen Joyce is not an antisemite if that’s what you’re talking about. The evidence that Bilek was promoting actual neonazis like Keith Woods was only recently revealed, so Joyce can‘t be held responsible for that, as some rather vicious trans activists have insisted of late.

Right. What I’m asking is: are people doubting the veracity of the claims re the billionaires’ trans funding just because it was apparently Bilek who uncovered it? I assume it’s all been fact checked.

Many people were talking about wealthy donors to trans-activist causes before Bilek (not to mention it’s a matter of public record). but even if she were first? If I had $100 for every time someone wrote or discussed something 4thWaveNow discovered first, I’d be a millionaire.

I ask because some people were doubting her claims re funding, believing them tainted by her abhorrent views. Good to understand some history and context. I’ve only been on Twitter for less than 6 months, so playing catch up. Thanks.

Ah, I see. No, the foundations mentioned--along with many others--are major funders. They have all long been known and the info is easy to find because in the US, nonprofits' tax info is public. See for example this from 2018https://suedonym.substack.com/p/inauthentic-selves-the-modern-lgbtq …

There’s no doubt about major funders. What’s troubling is calling actual Nazi theories fascinating linking to their content, feeding grand conspiracy that Jews are to blame, liking antisemitic cartoons and not doing more to denounce Nazi sites publishing articles w/your byline

And, as
@HJoyceGender, Sue Donym, Michael Biggs, and many others have shown us, it is entirely possible to write about major funders without ever mentioning their religion *because it is irrelevant that they’re Jews*2 replies 4 retweets 23 likes
And here we have @hjoycegender, in her own words today, saying just that.https://thehelenjoyce.com/a-wild-ride/
