Read through the thread, & you'll see a common claim: We support detransitioners. Just not like THIS. Not THIS way. Archived. Because it's "triggering" to even see the announcement of this event on a public Facebook page, the post may disappear soon.https://archive.is/v6Thp

This is a telling comment in the original post: "Warning: Even though this is directed at clinicians, it could trigger rage and dysphoria that may become overwhelming." Overwhelming rage resulting from...the mere existence of a workshop on detransition? Rage? And then what?

Another common theme: Now isn't the time to talk about detransition "at this moment in history." Has anyone ever seen a trans advocate reveal what WOULD be the right time "in history" to allow discussion about detransition?

“those who identify as detransitioners”, “how to confront it”.....splutter, splutter.....

Yes, use of the word “confront” is revealing.

They all say it's so rare, but one of the issues is that we just don't know how frequent it is because we're not allowed to discuss it, and research into this question has been shut down.

So much of the replies are evidence that there's a very fragile worldview in evidence. If your sense of self requires that everything and everyone you see or do or come in contact with affirm you, then you're in for a rough life.
