Here's the 7 minute audio clip wherein Olson-Kennedy explains in detail how she "just gave him [the 8-year-old "assigned female at birth"] the language" to understand she was actually a boy. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7kqndv It's worth listening to in its entirety, especially for this:

Olson-Kennedy herself says that the 8-yr-old child was not expressing the desire to "be a boy." She had short hair and wore "boy's clothes", yes, but when the good doctor asked her "are you a boy or a girl", the girl stated she WAS a girl..."because of this body."pic.twitter.com/cvbxMhb8r8

Olson-Kennedy, in her own words, makes it clear she thinks a child who believes her body has anything to do with whether she's a girl or boy has been wrongly taught.pic.twitter.com/8QbiroN3Ld

Olson-Kennedy then proceeds to encourage the child to see her body as a "wrapper" containing the wrong "pop tart" [toaster pastry]. And it worked.pic.twitter.com/FRkUUQzJxZ

Olson-Kennedy joins her audience in appreciative laughter, demurs: "I don't THINK I made this kid a boy. I don't THINK so." Judge for yourself. Many more people now know about these providers than when we originally covered them, but many still don't. Please continue to share widely, now that the
@60Minutes program on detransition last Sunday--viewed by millions--has started a long overdue national conversation.1 reply 1 retweet 19 likesShow this thread -
Several clinicians featured on
@60Minutes expressed concern that some colleagues were not sufficiently cautious in their work with youth. No names were mentioned, but those of us who've been watching this for years are well aware.https://www.cbsnews.com/video/transgender-health-care-60-minutes-video-2021-05-23/#x …1 reply 4 retweets 19 likesShow this thread -

It's one thing for a doctor like Olson-Kennedy to be a fervent believer and practitioner of "affirmative care." It's quite another to engage in a coordinated campaign to suppress coverage of people who did NOT benefit from this model of care.https://twitter.com/4th_WaveNow/status/1397547754000420864?s=20 …

...But then again, if you believe the removal of a teenager's breasts is no big deal, because of they change their mind & regret the surgery, they can "go and get" some new synthetic ones later...https://twitter.com/SwipeWright/status/1398431192492347392?s=20 …

Colin Wright @SwipeWrightThese are the kind of wackos that have somehow risen to prominence in the field of transgender medicine. So what if we wrongfully cut off a confused girl's breasts? According to this doctor, “If [they] want breasts at a later point in [their] life, [they] can go and get them.” https://twitter.com/MattWalshBlog/status/1396890973951647744 …1 reply 5 retweets 28 likesShow this thread
"Affirmative" gender clinicians do tell reporters things that should be questioned. But it's when they are with other true believers (like at a gender conference) that they really let loose and show the full truth of how they practice with their patients.

Someone who has attended gender conferences compiled this series of videos (including the infamous "go and get them"). The recordings demonstrate how affirmative clinicians talk amongst their peers about their young clients. They are all worth watching.https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPu4-Ybnr7_TSoolfL2cWfw/videos …
