There was literally nowhere else to find that particular group of people back then. It's pathetic (and defamatory) how these people keep flogging the dead horse that 4thWaveNow is "anti-trans" or "a hate group." For some reason, they won't admit the obvious:

We provide a platform for not just parents, but researchers, clinicians, desisters/detransitioners, & others who critically examine the upsurge (particularly) in girls & young women wanting to medically transition in the last 5-10 years. The "hate" libel is just pure projection.

They hate us, not the other way around. If they want to complain, these endlessly obsessed activists should aim their ire at the Atlantic, which excised all mention of 4thWaveNow, as

Would these same people say a journalist was doing something nefarious in the early days of the trans rights movement, when only one or two sites provided a platform for trans people so that's where said journalist found someone to interview?

More to the point, these activists are oddly silent when not just journalists, but researchers like Kristina Olson only interview parents and kids from affirmative support groups.

This 2019 Substack post by Singal tackled the ridiculous "anti-trans hate group" libel aimed at us (that time, because we were quoted in a
@nytimes article about breast binding). It's a good piece for those who haven't read it. https://jessesingal.substack.com/p/is-the-process-of-science-reporting …pic.twitter.com/5uzqSgRLN2
