I think it is always a combination, but I also think the women who face discrimination are the women who want to be in those fields. The majority of women who aren’t in those fields simply do not want to be there.

No problem is monocausal, but there is a direct correlation between higher production efficiency, equal rights legislation, feminist consciousness, and men and women choosing life paths that are highly varied but distinct on the axis of people vs object/labor on average
