We think the most aggressively homophobic people we could find are the ones who blacklisted various of us for refusing to believe in ‘lesbian penises,’ or drummed us out of polite society for objecting to the sterilization and maiming of lesbian and bisexual girls.

That sounds very reasonable, by some lights, no doubt. But our work is about affecting policy and the law. It’s not about only talking to people you agree with. http://womensliberationfront.org/shunning-and-democracy/ …

It's not like parents reading the first few pages don't know how to google the authorities cited. If they do, they'll quickly find screeds blaming LG people for the destruction of western civilization. Most teachers would throw the guide in the trash before reading any further.

You’ve taken a poll of the nation’s teachers on the matter, and they mostly agree with you? Convenient. Meanwhile, this just showed up in our mentions. This person would be taken more seriously than any of us, by any elected Democrat who’s endorsed the Equality Act.pic.twitter.com/mvnI9tm7aH

You're sidestepping the point, as usual. First, the religious affiliations of the group that published it, along with endorsers, would preclude a public school from using it. And yes, I'd say most teachers would recoil from the anti-gay views of people like Sprigg and Hibbs.

You do realize that public schools cannot use materials published by religious organizations? As mentioned earlier, Brie tried hard to convince the authors of the guide to create a document under secular auspices. This fell on deaf ears.
