Some don’t regard what’s happening to the children as an emergency, no matter how much they may have talked about it in the past. It just isn’t as important to them as their partisanship, their social standing or self-concept, or not getting yelled at on Twitter.

It’s not their top priority, and they’re not willing to inconvenience themselves, or even go so far as to have difficult conversations with people they don’t agree with, to try and stop doctors cutting off buckets worth of children’s body parts.

This is bullshit and you know it. The only people unwilling to have difficult conversations are WolF members and others who refused to discuss the very narrow issue we brought up six months ago. It was crickets then, & it's crickets now.https://twitter.com/4th_WaveNow/status/1252273481045225474 …

4thWaveNow @4th_WaveNowLast October we asked why a pastor who routinely preaches about "debased" gays & lesbians was invited to write an endorsement for a guide aimed at parents of dysphoric youth. 6 months later, one of the guide sponsors (WolF) continues to attack us for questioning that endorsement. https://twitter.com/briejnm/status/1252255152083361795 …Show this thread1 reply 0 retweets 13 likes -
Whoever runs your FB account dredged up a screenshot of a tweet by @BJontry from **6 months ago** as some sort of "gotcha." But as always, it's ad hominem attacks instead of engaging the substance of what she was talking about. https://www.facebook.com/640917462669449/posts/2919060291521810/ …

Also noted is your chairwoman libeling @BJontry & 4thWaveNow behind a locked account, making ridiculous allegations and doing exactly what you falsely accuse us of: Character assassination and attempts to destroy our reputation.

Throughout, you & your surrogates steadfastly refuse to engage the simple point we've made openly and without malice: The wisdom of inviting certain individuals and organizations to write front matter for the parent guide. Your "with us or agin us" vendetta against us is foolish.

You had a chance to privately review the guide and express concerns. You said nothing negative about it. When you didn’t endorse, we said nothing negative about you. But when it was released, you joined in a chorus of accusing people of homophobia by association.

Untrue. We were not asked to review the guide, nor knew nothing about the paragraphs that were solicited from Hibbs et al, something we suspect you also know. Brie saw a draft over a year ago, and she begged EZ not to release it under the auspices of FRC. To no avail.

We didn't accuse anyone of "homophobia by association." We asked repeatedly why ppl like Hibbs, Johnston, & Sprigg were invited to write front matter, when so many young people who identify as trans are struggling with their sexual orientation. It was very straightforward.

You just “asked,” hmm? Do you have any objection to the actual contents? You know that the constant questions serve as a standing accusation that anyone who won’t shun those people might as well have endorsed their every past statement.

The contents don't explore sexual orientation struggles but if those paragraphs (which were solicited--they didn't just appear magically) hadn't been there, it would have made the guide more broadly accessible, the point Brie made that you decided to drag up again on FB last week

That sounds very nuanced and reasonable, in its way, though your interpretation of broadly accessible seems to mean ‘agrees with me.’ Also, she compared being associated with the guide to being associated with David D*ke, just like the TRAs. Which was the point.

How “broadly accessible” is your version of parent support when parents who don’t share your opinions about Christian conservatives know that your spokesperson might compare them to a white supremacist if they step out of line?
