11/ The lawsuit quotes experienced clinician Stephen Levine extensively, but Levine is far from alone. Clinicians around the world have stated there is no consensus on the affirmative model. 12/ This is an important lawsuit that strikes at the heart of the politicization of what should be a clinical matter between providers and families. The use of public schools by trans activists to institutionalize "affirm-only" doctrine should be vigorously contested.

The brief is truly formidable. It would also be interesting to read the Levine affidavit. He has given evidence in the Younger case in Texas and a number of other gender related cases. I found one set of PowerPoint slides he prepared, but all of his articles behind a paywall.

He discusses three different paradigms for transgender identity: medical, minority rights and developmental.
