To a journalist who happens to lean right, I’m talking about doing collaborative activism with groups or individuals who openly oppose homosexuality, gender nonconformity, even extra-marital sex. Like REALLY out there beliefs that aren’t accepted in the mainstream culture AT ALL.

Excellent thread. Also, it's important to watch out for the "love the sinner but not the sin" faux-compassion some social conservatives express for the many LG people who've detransitioned.
