The fact that certain industries profit from medical transition is not the same as claiming those industries manufactured the whole thing from the start and are now sitting in boardrooms like master puppeteers bouncing hapless puppets around, conspiring to create more trans kids.

Industry money DOES fund campaigns for orgs like HRC, drowning out skeptics & reasonable critics (with the help of a prostrate media), but some of the MDs & gender therapists driving "affirmative" peds transition have messiah complexes. The profit is a (welcome) side effect.

Sure, "follow the money" because it always matters and is what allows some people to be heard and not others. But tail doesn't wag dog. Small-scale example: Speech therapists got a new niche w/"voice feminization," but they didn't connive to create the niche in the first place.

And I will explain why, if you can't get insurance to practice a certain type of medicine, it comes off the formulary. End of.
