It's possible to walk and chew gum at the same time: - Decline to support legislation that would jail doctors who follow their medical orgs' (very flawed) guidelines... - AND point out the appallingly irresponsible journos/activists screaming "suicide or transition."https://twitter.com/jessesingal/status/1222586914634706951 …

If anyone is to get real traction, it's the people who themselves underwent medical transition & say they were harmed. Amplify their voices so they can be heard over the din of the Culture War. Most want nothing to do with the same politicians who see homosexuality as a sin.

Agree.. all that moralistic Nancy Reagan "just say no" horseshit went nowhere. But people actually "witnessing"and talking about what addiction did to them *personally* is always the more effective thing. People in recovery always usually directly inspired by actions of another.

I am also have deep misgivings about legislative bans on child transition, but am much more comfortable with the judicial review led by
@sueevansprotect questioning whether kids can consent to puberty blockers.https://www.bbc.com/news/health-51033911 …Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Yes, I would not want to punish doctors, nurses, pharmacy-techs, etc... who are often overworked and doing their best. Many will be immigrants here on visas and it could jeopardize their status; a native-born doctor has no such fears.
