We are fortunate in the UK in having a large group of feminists and LGB people who understand the threats to the rights of women and LGB people posed by self-ID and the notion of gender identity. Other countries are less fortunate./1of2

To be fair the UK is a much much smaller country with govt, media etc centralised. We have a smaller mountain than you. Thank you for all you do, you opened many eyes

Yes and you can get together at a moment's notice, living on an island. You also have some prominent supporters in the mainstream media.

& I think our media is very prone to amplifying the extremes on this issue, with a rote 'culture war' framing. But the UK also benefits from a more heterogeneous news media. Ours has become extremely doctrinaire.
