Mature minor doctrine (non-emerg services) seems a fairly high bar, includes independence from parents. Would like to see evidence 13 yr olds have been prescribed blockers or hormones sans parental consent in WA. They could see a gender therapist, though, under "mental health."

Gender therapists (psychologists or social workers) can't prescribe drugs. Only an MD can, and that falls under medical services. Would be an interesting subject to investigate and write up as an article--how many kids under 18 are prescribed these drugs without parental consent?
