Last bit (re: gay men not liking fems) often gets lost in discussions about young trans-identified males. Have seen other gay males who eventually transitioned say the same thing. Societal or parental homophobia is one thing; but if gay men reject "effeminate" men, then what?

So in your view, the obsession with "passing" is a non-issue (generally) when it comes to HSTS? Obviously, it's usually harder to "pass" after male puberty has done its job-- or is it?

It's really interesting to hear your points of view as HSTS who oppose child transition, when there's SO much hoopla re: "passing" from activists--especially because we know, statistically, that these early-onset males who are being puberty blocked are likely proto-gay...
