You are applying your own bias of what you think ROGD means here. ROGD is meant to differentiate between 2 populations. Those getting GD pre-puberty and those who have seemingly no history of pre-puberty GD and manifesting post puberty.

By the same token, some of this pop ARE going to persist & seek transition, & their parents will have to cope. I've seen you point that out, & it's a fair point. Even if it's a tiny percentage (no one knows how many yet!), they also matter. This is why study is urgently needed.

hey, wanna know a fun thing about trans health care in my country? many general doctors have a misdiagnose rate of 10-15% for things and its no big deal. If dr's in trans healthcare misdiagnosing rates reach even 3-4% they risk the whole branch being shut down.

There is nothing "transphobic" or "bigoted" about a parent being glad if their daughter (or son) can resolve gender dysphoria such that they avoid hormones and/or surgeries. Desistance is not a dirty word, & parents who hope for it aren't bigots simply because they feel that way.
